See Why UCC’s Crying Updated. Uniform civil law does not necessarily address the deeper issues of gender inequality. It may be an attempt to impose a homogenous culture that threatens India’s diverse cultural heritage. The UCC may reflect a dominant cultural or religious perspective. It is essential to involve representatives of diverse communities and religions to ensure that civil law is fair and equitable. The UCC should address the specific needs and concerns of women and promote substantial equality. India’s cultural diversity must be recognized while promoting a unified code.

Implementing legal lateness
See “SC Forest Conservation Orders Reveal Long-standing Formal Inaction.” As a nation, we are guilty of not protecting the resources nature has given us. Not only the forests, but the neglect also extends to the rivers. It is a sad commentary that the courts must push executives to protect the forests. Laws are in place to save forests, but they are late in their implementation. Due to corrupt officials and increasingly urbanization, forests continue to be broken with immunity. The nation simply has to make more effort to protect forest land.

Complement humans using AI
See “Ai may push humans up on the bystanders.” Artificial intelligence is moving forward quickly, raising concerns that it could outweigh the capabilities of people in various fields. Automation has replaced work, reduced human involvement in decision making, and even outperformed people with creative tasks. AI increases efficiency, but also risks decreasing human relevance in areas such as manufacturing and customer service. Ethical concerns arise as AI systems control more aspects of daily life. However, rather than replacing humans, AI must be developed as a tool to complement human intelligence, ensuring a balanced future.

Highways essential for progress
“Delhi Amiritosar’s ranking in 4 hours within three months: Gadkari”; Road Transport and Highway Minister Nitin Gadkari’s outcome-driven approach and commitment to infrastructure development have had great results. Prioritizing strategic highways and highway construction will accelerate economic growth, stimulate trade and create new opportunities across multiple sectors. Efficient transport strengthens industrial supply chains, improves agricultural distribution and promotes local development. As India continues to expand its logistics network, the timely implementation of these projects is important to position the country as a global economic powerhouse.

I hope for a float for India-Canadian bond
See “Kearney’s Challenge.” India and Canada both share valuable, vibrant democracy and have the ability to turn diplomatic differences into pathways for greater collaboration. The Indian diaspora is contributing to Canada’s growth. India has emerged as a global hub, offering exciting opportunities for deeper engagement. With his extensive financial expertise, Mark Carney is suited to navigate global trade challenges, including Trump’s tariffs. Under his leadership, there is optimism that Canada-India’s trade relations will flourish and pave the way for a prosperous future based on mutual progress and shared goals.

The Need for Cricket Diplomacy
The order of “Champion’s Responsibility.” The editorial suggestion that India must strive to revive cricket ties with Pakistan is easier than that. Controversy broke out that Pakistan’s Cricket Committee representatives did not exist on stage at the Champions Trophy presentation ceremony. Under these circumstances, it is best to leave the MEA’s Mandarin to call cricket diplomacy.
