Scotland beat the defending champion Canada at the World Women’s Curling Championships in Korea.

Morrison delivered two perfect shots with the final two stones, and at the end he scored three against the Canadian side, defeating Lithuania 13-2 against the Canadian side.
“We went into the match looking at it as a bit of a giveaway,” she said. “It wasn’t a must-see, but it’s great to see it come out with victory.
“It really helps to read the ice well, and that’s the main thing going forward.
“We have 11 more round robin games so it’s good to know we’re getting lots of shots out there.”
The European bronze medalist in Scotland will face Norway and the host country on Sunday, with the latter match going live on BBC Sports’ website, app and iPlayer (10:00 GMT).
After the event, the top eight countries in Olympic rankings are guaranteed to be Milan/Cortina locations in 2026.
The UK is currently sitting in eighth place after Jackson and her team exhibited at the 2024 World Championships.
