In the USA: Muslim preachers love slaughter of Jews

An “appalling” majority of American imams celebrated Hamas’ Oct. 7 terror attack and subsequently promoted antisemitism, “poisoning the minds of our youth,’ an Arab-speaking watchdog says.

“They are promoting hate, promoting anti-Americanism and promoting the Muslim Brotherhood
ideology that demonizes the the West and empowers radical groups,” says Mansour Al-Hadj, director or Reform at the Middle Eastern Media Research Institute in Washington D.C. “All these imams are ideologically driven and promoting a narrative of radical extremism.”

Al-Hadj compiled and translated these online sermons. There are more here. A university student of sharia law who grew up in Saudi Arabia, Al-Hadj says there is a great breadth of interpretation of Islamic scholarship, but American imams tend only to provide the most extremist. This “poisons the mind and the thinking of our youth,” he says.

“Almost all the sermons seemed to share similar themes in their framing of the attack, amplifying a single narrative which justifies Hamas’s attack as a legitimate act that is based on the command of Allah and the teachings of the prophet Muhammad,” Al-Hadj wrote on MEMRI. “Therefore, they did not condemn or hold Hamas responsible for killing and abducting civilians, including children and the elderly, and sexually assaulting several women.”
