Abu Dhabiuae, March 11, 2025 / CNW/ – Culture and Tourism Bureau – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) announced the date of the leading global forum Culture Summit Abu Dhabi in its 7th edition. Thinking leadership gatherings take place between the ages of 27 and 27 April 29, 2025Manalat al Sadiyat, in the saadiyat cultural district Abu Dhabi.
Theme, Culture for Culture and more than that, this edition explores the ever-dynamic relationship between culture and humanity during an unparalleled period of transformation. The first quarter of the century witnessed a major change in power that led to an uncertain sense of future. This summit will encourage human liberation, collective rethinking of humanism, and seek to find new common ground for building a shared, sustainable future.
With three-day panels, creative conversations, case studies, artist talks and workshops, the summit will share new perspectives on rethinking tomorrow as old ways of thinking become obsolete.
Three sub-themes will be investigated during the summit.
Day 1 will focus on the sub-theme “Reconstructing the Cultural Landscape.” It is being redefined as the power shift continues in a world marked by digital revolution, economic inequality, geopolitical volatility, cultural identity and social values. The session explores the impact of these changes on culture production, reception and consumption, and discusses the role that creative sectors can play in guiding humanity through uncertainty towards a confident future.
On the second day, we will explore a “new frontier in a posthuman environment.” As technological advancements, including AI, biotechnology and environmental research, redefine the essence of humanity, the session on the day will explore ways in which culture can ensure these changes. The program explores how cultural and creative disciplines adapt business models, infrastructure and policies to seize the opportunities these new frontiers present.
Day 3 will look at “a new frame for redefineing humanity and beyond.” The session explores how innovative and collaborative efforts and the rise of “glocal” approaches can promote resilience, inclusion, and sustainability. They can also explore how cultural innovations can help technology reconstruct the narrative and create new common ground for overcoming global polarization. In doing so, we aim to provide a tested model for humanity to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
