It has been confirmed that Ogden City, Utah, will be holding the 2026 edition of the LGT World Men’s Curling Championship. The event will be held at Weber County Ice Sheets from March 28th to April 5th, 2026.
The venue, part of Weber State University’s campus, is located 35 miles north of Salt Lake City.
The doors were opened in 1994, and in 2002 the building was renovated to prepare for curling at the 2002 Winter Olympics.
The Olympic-sized arena offers seating for over 2,300 spectators and is a training center for curling, ice hockey and figure skating.
The event will be one of the first major world curling competitions to improve visibility for sports and new fans, following the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Olympics.

Eeva Roethlisberger, Head of the World Curling of Contest, said:
“This is the first time Ogden City has held a global curling event, and with his experience in curling at the 2002 Winter Olympics, there is no doubt that it will create the best conditions for athletes and fans.”
“Webber County Commissioner Chairperson Sharon Boros said:
“This is an incredible opportunity for our community to experience Olympic sports in their own backyard.”
