There are about 1,000 deep cover operatives inside America today ready to commit the next wave of terrorism, says a former US spy who worked with the Afghan intelligence before Biden switched cooperation to the Taliban.
“These 1,000 or so are deep cover operatives who report to Sirajuddin Haqqani” acting interior minister of Afghanistan, says “Legend,” an Afghan American former US Army Intel NCO who fought the War on Terror during various deployments in the Middle East.
Sirajuddin in 2010 wrote a training manual teaching radicals in the West to “blend in, shave, wear Western dress, be patient” while they wait for the appropriate moment to behead or detonate explosives.
Yet there he is, working for the Afghan government, with the support and cooperation of the United States.
Why did the United States – after 20 years of building a Western-style government and intel-gathering sources and commando military – abandon them and start supporting the Taliban in August 2021?
Part of the reason was the futility and draining of resources. Part of the reason was wishful thinking or simply amnesia – Americans have largely forgotten the horrors of 9/11. It was a devilish pragmatism to cooperate with enemy (realizing they could never root out the steady stream of extremists continually being brainwashed by militaristic Islam).
But to turn its back on the freedom-loving soldiers, politicians and intel community that had spent 20 years training? That was a cynical and unwise move. Entire networks of cooperators found themselves betrayed for their loyalty to America.
“Legend” says on Shawn Ryan he gets his information from Amrullah Saleh, who was the head of Afghanistan’s National Directorate of Security until 2010. His intel network, created with the help of the U.S., is still operational, even though it was officially spurned by the U.S. since 2021.
Because he was vice president at the time of the fall of Kabul, and because the president fled the country, Saleh claims he is the legitimate president of Afghanistan. He continues to fight the Taliban in Afghanistan leading the group Afghanistan Green Trend.
In the Biden era, the U.S. tried to tame the clamorings for world domination of the Taliban (and Al-Qaeda and ISK) by giving $40 million a week to bolster the Afghan government.
This trick of offering carrots is as old as the Roman Empire, which gave money to keep outsiders from invading. For a long time, this kept the Arabs from invading; they even paid Arab bands to attack their perennial enemies, the Persians.
But when the moment came that the Roman Empire – wasted by the Persian enemy and decimated by the first wave of the Black Plague – felt it could no longer afford to bribe anymore, the Arabs rose up and conquered 4/5ths of Christendom, supplanting Islam for Christianity.
The trouble with the jihadists is they take quite literally the Koranic mandate to conquer the entire world, and deception and terrorism are taught strategies.
The U.S. learned the hard way what this meant in 9/11. Will it have to learn again sometime in the not-so-distant future?
It’s naive to assume that the jihadis who killed 2,977 civilians in the 2001 New York World Trade Tower attack have given up their dastardly work.
Legend says the 1,000 terrorists infiltrated the United States during the Biden administration, either legally immigrating without being properly vetted, or by crossing the open southern border.
